Sherden Guard

Image
Another batch of Bronze Age figures from Caesar. This time Sherden warriors in Egyptian service. Thanks to a pretty uniform look and simple colour pallet, I've managed to get twelve of them done in a single weekend. Overall, this might be the best example of 1/72 sculpting I've had the pleasure of painting. The head-to-body proportions are very realistic and overall size is near perfect. I think they will be a good base for comparing sizes of other sculpts. This gentlemen may just be a Vitruvian Man of 1/72 figures 😀. Enjoy the photos!

Caesar Pharaoh's Chariot

Image
I've added yet another chariot to my collection. The Caesar model is absolutely stunning and a blast to paint. My main goal was to show how different materials of the same colour can look (for example, the difference between red wood and red cloth). The runner figure was painted as well. Enjoy the photos!

Caesar Assyrian Chariots

Image
Good morning everyone! I've painted a box of Assyrian chariots from Caesar. Nice little models and figures (as always from Caesar). It surprised me how easy they were to put together, especially considering Caesar's soft plastic. I had lots of fun painting all the bright colours and bronze metallics. You might expect more ancients from me in the near future. Enjoy the photos! Edit: I took some additional photos.
